So this is my first posting. We have already logged in about 600 miles so far, and 90 of those happened yesterday over three mountains in WV. We started in Hinton, WV and rode to Madison, WV, climbing from roughly 1500 feet to 3200 feet above sea level at the peak of Bolt Mountain. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done, and in turn the most rewarding. I definitely averaged 42 mph's down the mountain and it was the biggest adrenaline rush I have ever experienced. That ride was the most agonizing and the most fun I have ever had. A little side note, I have reached 47.3 mph's on a downhill and it was super awesome! Everyone on the trip is incredible; I feel like I've known most of the team for a long time. It's amazing how close everyone becomes when sharing such a trying experience. This is already the best summer of my life and I can't wait to see what's to come. Limited time on the net so I gotta run!
